Tulips in my land
bringing spring in the air
with a colorful flair
They always fill my heart with gratitude
and are a beautiful meditative interlude
to remind me in a symbolic way
of the natural cycles that are with us to stay

Holland is colourful with tulips the flower
Walking in the park to take away the hours
But I admire each colour as of yellow, red or pink
I stop in admiration and turn pensive to think
It is such a beautiful palette in all these beautiful hues
Paint in the canvas of my eye to make it all true
